Your Boy as Mowgli

4.8 average · 54 reviews · Read reviews

The Jungle Book you grew up with - now starring him

  • His real face, from one photo. Not a character picked from a list - he is the boy in every illustration, from the cover to the last page.
  • The story you remember. The wolves, Baloo, Bagheera and the tiger with orange eyes - told in gentle rhyme, with him as the hero.
  • Your message on the first page. A printed dedication, free - the first words he reads every time he opens it.

He knows this story. He has never once been the one at the center of it - until now.

How is it personalized?

Upload one clear photo of his face and type his first name. He becomes the hero in every illustration - his own face, not a stand-in - and his name is on the cover and throughout the story.

What's the story?

In Rudyard Kipling's classic, your boy is found alone in the jungle at night and taken in by a family of wolves, who name him their little frog. He learns the words of the jungle from Baloo the bear, and the ways of the shadows from Bagheera the panther. But something with orange eyes has been waiting in the deep places, and it has not forgotten him. When it finally comes for him at the Council Rock, he has to decide what he is brave enough to stand in front of - and which family is truly his.

Your questions

Questions about Jungle Book

How is this Jungle Book different from the one I grew up with?

The wolves, Baloo, Bagheera and the tiger are all there. What changes is who the jungle raises - him, with his own face in every picture. And the heart of this telling is choosing which family is truly his.

Will it really look like him?

That is the whole point of the book, and you see it before you pay: the free preview shows him on the cover and one inside page. If the finished book still doesn't look like him, we remake it or refund you - your choice.

I'm his grandmother - can I make it?

Yes. You don't need to be the parent - just one clear photo of his face and his first name. Write the dedication yourself, and the first thing he reads when he opens the book will be your message.

When will it arrive?

Every book is printed to order in the USA and delivered with tracking within 10 business days.

What age is it for?

Ages 3-8. Little ones love being read to and pointing at themselves on every page; older children start reading their own name in the story.

Is there a version for a girl?

Jungle Book is written for a boy. For a girl, Cinderella and Thumbelina are made the same way - her face, her name, on every page.
